George was born a citizen of the Roman Empire at Cappadocia, Turkey.
b) where was he born ?
He was born in Turkey.

At the age of 17 he joined the Roman Army and quickly rose through the ranks.
d) What kind of person was he ?
George tore down the Emperor’s edict and worked to alleviate the suffering of Christians in the area. His position however was unsustainable. He was taken prisoner and brought before Diocletian.He was brave faithful and religious, strong and symphatic to poor people.
